Mizuno Ambition 2 Low Turf Shoe

My wide foot makes it challenging to find a comfortable turf shoe. The Mizunos fit the bill. Very comfortable on the field. They clean up well and easily because there isn’t the mesh upper that many turf shoes have. That being said, they don’t have the gloss of a leather or synthetic leather shoe. So they don’t carry the “shined shoes” look. I chose to sacrifice the shine for the lightweight breathability.

These are the first Mizuno shoe's I have purchased, and I absolutely love them. I was going to get a pair of New Balance base shoes to match my plate shoes, however I liked the look of these better. They offer a great grip in any field condition, and are very light. You almost didn't even know you're wearing them. I worked a few hot and humid days this summer, and these breath so well that my feet weren't even damp at the end of the game.

This fit well at size 9 (no width options). I typically need a wide shoe but this one actually fits good at their standard width.

I went through four different brands of base shoes before I received this pair. I highly recommend them for comfort and durability.
