Since it is a rubber band, I purchased it as a spare for replacement.
It will stretch naturally over time and will need to be replaced.

I have used Davis shins for ten years now. It was time for new straps. I wish they still made these shin guards.

They fit well - quick refresh for straps that just don't stretch like they used to. In my case, the timing was even better because on of the "catches" had just been broken by a weird foul ball.
