A little bulky, but awesome protection. Pretty comfortable. Takes an impact really well. Would recommend for fastpitch softball.

After many years of faithful service my vintage chest protector just didn't absorb the energy like it used to. After many bruises and a cracked clavicle it was time for something new. The Wilson MLB Gold West Vest offers superior comfort and protection. The hard shell does such a great job of spreading the energy that you don't even feel a 90 mph fastball. I should have bought one years ago.
